at Garden Grove United Methodist Church. We want to encourage you; if you are looking for an Hispanic/American Ministry; to come gather with us when ever you can. Please check out our list of activities on the calender. We hope you find something that fits with what you are looking for. We have something for everyone; so the whole family can be involved in spiritual growth at many different levels. You will find activities for adults, youth, children in grade school and for preschool and toddlers too. We have age level leaders for each group who are really like to make learning fun and meaningful through using singing, crafts, skits, discussions and games, to mention a few!
We are families who are gathering to form a church where we all work together to create a community filled with Christs’ spirit of love. We recognize that God works with each of us, no matter what age, in different ways, to inspire us all to serve God and Neighbor! You are welcome to get involved in activities for the whole family. Please come and be part of helping bring this new ministry to life on this beautiful campus; on Main Street in Downtown Garden Grove.

Hi, I am Pastor Carrie and yes I sure don’t look like I speak Spanish or would be interested in Hispanic ministry, but as you can see it is what I love most to do as a pastor. I lived in Mexico for 17 years, learned Spanish and gained lots of cultural understanding while raising 2 “Poblanos” and being married to a wonderful “Chilango”. We worked for a hunger agency and traveled to many rural communities all over Mexico, doing community development. Like many of you, God has brought me to the U. S. to work for a better life, spiritually and economically. I look forward to getting to know you and seeing what we can do together as we help improve the lives of those in this community in ways that God will be proud of. Link to Pastor Carrie’s bio
