9:45 a.m. – New Youth Worshipin Room 201. Come to the Sanctuary at 9:30 then you will move to Room 201 after “Time with Children”
10:45 a.m. – United Methodist Men’s Brunch in Acker Hall. Everyone is invited to join them for Brunch after worship for a time of food and fellowship. $5.00 suggested donation. While you are eating, you are welcome to learn about the November Ballot Measures (see below).
11:00 a.m. – League of Women Voters Ballot Measure Presentation in Acker Hall. If you need help understanding the November ballot measures for the Tuesday, November 6th General Election, come to this unbiased presentation sponsored by Older Adult Ministries. Everyone is welcome so invite your friends, family, and neighbors to this informative meeting. You are welcome to participate in the Brunch (see above) or just come to learn about the Ballot Measures.

Sunday, October 14th, 5:00 p.m. – All-Church Harvest Potluck Dinner in Acker Hall. Congregations Coordinating Council (CCC) is excited to be sponsoring the third annual all-church Harvest Potluck Dinner, with entertainment by each of our worshiping groups. Everyone, please bring a main dish. If your last name begins with A-L, please also bring a salad or appetizer; if it begins with M-Z, please also bring a desert. Holiday Luncheon 10:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m., $8.00. All in a Festive Holiday Atmosphere! Proceeds to benefit women and children here and around the world.
Sock Sunday is October 14th! As we have done each year, we will collect Socks for the Garden Grove Assistance League’s Operation School Bell.This program provides clothing for children in the Garden Grove Unified School District who would otherwise go without. You can bring you socks that Sunday or any time before hand to the Church Office. Thanks for your support!

Hal Colebaugh died on Wednesday, August 22nd. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 3rd at 3:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. A receptions will follow in Acker Hall.
