Announcements
- Are you having trouble hearing or UNDERSTANDING during the service? Larry Ogle reports that new “hearing impaired ear phones” with ear buds are available. A current user reports that she now hears and understands the service! When you come into the sanctuary, please ask one of the ushers for the new ear phones (hearing aids). We have five sets available and can order more if they are needed.
- The Angel Tree gifts need to be here by this Sunday, December 18th! If you can’t get your gift(s) here by this Sunday let Sally Hickman know, 714-839-0120 or 714-376-8391, so arrangements can be made! We need help delivering the Angel Tree gifts! Let Sally Hickman know if you can help.
- The Church Office will be closed Friday, December 23rd through Monday, January 2nd for Christmas and New Year’s holidays and some vacation for the staff.
- The Worship Commission is searching for interested youth and adults who would be able to acolyte. We would like to have at least six people involved so that no one will be serving more than once a month. We will show you what to do! Inquiries welcome! Call Diane Farley at 714-972-8895.
- Remember to look for the clipboard, on the counter in the office next to the Flower Calendar book, to sign up to be a Sunday Greeter! We need greeters for Christmas Eve and January! You can call the Church Office, 714-534-1070, to sign up to greet as well.
Coming Events
- Saturday, December 24th, 7:00 p.m. – Christmas Eve Worship with Pageant in the Sanctuary. This multicultural service will include a live pageant, candle lighting, and a message suitable for children, youth, and families.
- Sunday, December 25th, 9:30 a.m. – Special Christmas Day Worship with an emphasis on carols and music and our Samoan brothers and sisters will join us!
- Sunday, December 25th, 7:00 p.m. – Vietnamese Service in the Sanctuary. Vietnamese churches in our area have been invited.
- Saturday, December 31st, 9:30 p.m. – Korean Watch Night Servicein the Sanctuary.
- Saturday, December 31st, 11:00 p.m. – Mar Thoma Watch Night Service in the Sanctuary.

- Wednesday, December 21st, 10:30 a.m. – United Methodist Women General Meeting in the Lounge. They will begin with Brunch, $6.00 suggested donation. We will have a Christmas program.
